Selling across borders got easy. Staying compliant while doing it did not. A freelancer invoicing a client abroad, or a creator selling a file to a buyer in another country, runs into rules written for companies with finance departments — VAT rates that differ per country, registration thresholds nobody announces, and invoice requirements that vary by jurisdiction.
The tools that exist tend to solve one slice. An invoicing app that ignores tax. A payment processor that ignores documents. A storefront that ignores both. The gaps between them are where a one-person business loses its evenings.
No monthly fee. You pay a fee when money moves, and nothing when it does not. There is no monthly plan and no upgrade decision; your price follows the way you sell, your risk level and whether you sell as a company or an individual.
Two ways to sell. Use your own tax registration and payment account, or let Nisan be the merchant of record and carry the registration for you. The second option exists because "just register for VAT in every country you sell to" is not advice; it is a second job.
The document is not an afterthought. Invoices carry a single unbroken number series and stay immutable once issued. Corrections are their own documents. That is how tax law expects records to behave, and building it in later is much harder than building it in first.
